FREE! Service Dog Information Session

Service dogs are increasingly present in today’s society. Join us for a free information session to learn all about service dogs. We’ll discuss what a service dog is (and is not), legal definitions, public access requirements, types of service dogs, the difference between service, therapy, and emotional support animals, what makes a good service dog and more!

This free monthly informational session also serves as the required orientation session for our new service dog training program. Getting a service dog usually involves year-long waiting lists or prohibitively expensive training. Our progressive program will guide you through the process of training your own service dog from socialization and basic good manners cues to individualized task training and public access skills.

Our monthly service dog information session is free and open to the public! Join us to to learn about service dog laws and definitions, training requirements, and more! This one-hour talk also serves as the orientation session for Service Dog Phase 1 class.

Our free one-hour service dog information sessions are held once a month at Peaceable Paws in Fairplay, MD. We hope you'll join us but please note that this information session is without dogs! Registration is appreciated but not mandatory.
